Don’t Have Game, Be Game

The football season has just finished and it brings on a period of reflection for me.

My beloved team ended trophy-less and in a disappointing seventh place in the league. It makes me think back to years gone by, the highs and lows and where the team were at in certain parts of my life. There are certain times where not much has happened in my life over the course of a football season, and there are times where things have happened where I feel I have moved forward, ultimately not having done so. This past season has been different, however.

What’s Going On? Where Am I? The Truth?

We’ve been a bit quiet this week over here as we’ve been focusing on our upcoming trip and tying up loose ends here in London. It’s been over 4 years now that I’ve been actively changing my life and changing it for the better. If you had told me at the age of 25 that in a few years I’d be embarking on a long term trip around Europe doing fuck all in terms of work, I’d have laughed, taken a toke and dreamed about it whilst lying on my friends couch as he roared around a track on Project Gotham Racing 2. Meeting the Rock Solid Game crew was a real turning point in what was going to be an insipid life of slaving in a cubicle, having a romantic tryst every blue moon and probably an indentured one too. Following that old path of my parents probably hooking me up with some broad, marriage, a hefty mortgage and working my ass off until kingdom come.

Broken Inside Because Of Oneitis?

This is somewhat of a different post to what I’ve put up before. I kind of eluded to it in my Slovakian Flag post about losing interest in her after I’d had sex with her but it’s something that’s been on my mind for a while now.

I’d spoken to Bojangles about it a few times and he’s mentioned to me that it’s a natural stage of progression what I’m going through and that most, if not all players/PUAs go through it. So the Polish blondie booked some flights to London for a long weekend and then told me she was coming. It caught me off guard, I’d kept in contact over Facebook after putting some thoughts of visiting into her little Polish brain over Christmas and New Years and she’d put that to action. She was pretty implicit in that she wanted to spend the whole time with me, she has quite a few friends in town from working in town previously but she’d be happy hanging with me and meeting my Bromigos. Earlier last week she told me she was sick, damn these girls, they are up for passing on all sorts of shit. Bromigo Matt is constantly under the weather from the all cooties he catches from kissing all these girls.

On the day of her arrival she messaged me to say she felt better and let me know what time she was landing. My friend Sammi owes me quite a few favours so I he picked me up and drove to the airport where she was eagerly waiting at the passenger pickup. Women as we all know in general do not age well, this girl had not aged at all since I last saw her, I don’t really get too awestruck as much as I used to but I had to pause for a second as I sat in the car. Sammi nudged my elbow a little “woah is that her Bojangles! Is she really Polish?” “Yes lad that’s her”. It was a sunny day, once again I was doing my best Fonz impression with my shades on and walked over to her grabbed her by the butt and gave her a long kiss and grope (shit is that beta? haha). For a moment I did not say anything as I gazed deeply into her green eyes, she smiled, blushed and said “Hi to you too”. I grabbed her hand and dragged her over to the car and threw her in.

Around three and a half years ago I flew off to a northern Polish tri-city on a Thursday night with a group of work mates and my cousin. We somehow managed to get the time off from our workplace despite most of working on the same team. I’d just immersed myself in Game and this was like a nice little test trip abroad for me. None of my colleagues had any luck when it came to talking to ladies and most suffered from severe anxiety if there was no alcohol at hand.

It was a bitter cold zero on the temp gauge and we strolled out into the main street into the party area of the tri-city and rolled into what looked like a really cooled bar. I ordered what at that time was my usual, vodka on the rocks with lime and we grabbed a table. One of the guys pointed out two girls sat behind me drinking beers, one was pretty sexy, she had flowing brunette hair and lovely Slavic Polish features and the other was quite cute girl with glasses who looked like she was Greek or Italian.

The hot one got up and walked off to the toilet and I decided to get up and said a simple ‘hey’ and sat down in her seat. She seemed surprised to meet a British guy, well a British Indian guy in her town (she was Polish too) and the chat was going well, just friendly nothing sexual. Her friend returned and looked at me with the eyes of the devil (‘How dare he take my seat!’) and I got up, introduced myself and she was all smiles, I grabbed a chair from behind me and placed it alongside hers (which was now my seat) and spent the next 10 minutes occupying both. At that time one of my friends realised that someone needed to come in and let me get some ‘Ice’ with the hot girl and grabbed his chair came over and I introduced him to both. [Read more…]

Tipping – The Perks

Here in the UK and London in particular there’s an animosity towards tipping for services rendered in restaurants, bars and clubs across town. It’s an old school mentality here and we Brits regularly scoff at the ingrained tipping culture across the Atlantic in the grand ol’ USA. The Bromigos though go against this trend, we tip everywhere we go, we tip waitresses, bartenders, bouncers, barbers, bellboys et al.

The Slovakian Flag

I got my Slovakian flag at the weekend after a third “date” with her.

As I mentioned a couple of times, I’ve been looking for a girlfriend the past couple of weeks as it’s getting too expensive for me to keep dating new girls. After a conversation with Jimmy, I realised it would be far cheaper to find a girl to get on lockdown to save as much money as I can this year ready for our adventures next year.

The Importance Of Being Prepared

I’m not going to fill this post with clichéd quotations that get banded about by the uninspiring people on your Facebook. It’s not all directly about preparing with women either but preparation for everything in your life, no matter how small what you’re doing is or large.

I’ve had a few encounters recently that got me thinking, and I wondered why when I’m out in the city, going to work, traveling somewhere, or whatever else it is, I seemed to be the only person around me that knows where I’m going and what I’m doing. I’m able to walk around looking effortless while the people around me are looking around and acting in a frenzy because they don’t know their surroundings or what they’re supposed to be doing in them.
