This is a guest post from Teedub discussing Sweden’s growing dissatisfaction with ‘progressive’ multiculturalism’.
Recent news coming out of Sweden appears to suggest growing disillusionment with the insane multiculturalism experiment.
[Just to note, all references to ‘multiculturalism’, ‘multicultural areas’ etc are specifically about Islamic ghettoisation. Not Hindus, Jews, Sikhs etc – as no European country has any issue with these groups. I’m not one for identity politics, but this needed to be clarified.]
The 13% electoral result of the ‘far right’ Sweden Democrats is interesting for a number of reasons. Firstly, it’s the only time in decades that any kind of nationalist movement in Northern Europe has gained any kind of mainstream support. France have had Le front Nationale, but I believe France has a different national character than Scandinavia, Germany & Britain – all Germanic nations at their core. Secondly, it’s the first time in recent memory that anything remotely sensible has been discussed in Sweden in regards to mass third-world (Muslim) immigration.
So much stuff comes out in the manosphere about Sweden and it’s insane adherence to multiculturalism and gender neutrality that it’s hard to take a lot of it seriously. I’m sure a lot is overblown as no country can be as insane as it is spoken about to be. However, Pat Condell, a famously non-PC YouTube blogger, made this damning video entitled ‘Goodbye Sweden’. Definitely worth a watch if you want to see how significant the rise of the Sweden Democrats actually is.
As for the UK, sure, the NF and BNP have had a few fringe supporters here and there, but they’ve never been close to 13% in a general election. If the mainstream media got in such a tizz about UKIP, can you imagine what they’d do if Nick Griffin was hovering around Downing Street?
However, that doesn’t mean people should write off every nationalist party as some kind of Hitler-lite organisation, with Jew hating and all. Hint, hint – you hypocritical lefty Guardian readers…The fact it took Tommy Robinson and the EDL to bring the grooming gang situation to light shows you vile left-liberals care more about nudes of your middle class starlets, the opinions of Lena Dunham, and the best dreadlock techniques for caucasian hair than you do about about working class northern English girls. It’s always been a class issue, which is why it’s good when a group such as the Sweden Democrats come to the fore. It makes it much more difficult for some Ivory Tower metro-wimp like Owen Jones to fire out the “knuckle dragger” insult. Especially when they’re foreign and especially Scandinavian – the source of all things ‘equal’ and ‘tolerant’.
Anyway, I digress. After a quick read of the Sweden Democrats’ wikipedia page I find myself agreeing with many of their ideas. Many of which find support in the manosphere at large:
The Sweden Democrats are in favour of the traditional nuclear family and believe that every child should have “one father and one mother”, according to their website. According to Social Democrat Björn Andersson’s blog, SD is opposed to adoption rights for homosexual couples, and to letting lesbian women become inseminated. Although SD strongly criticizes what it calls a Homosex Lobby, the party claims that it is not hostile to homosexuals
From the BBC link I posted as the first link, I also find this quote hard to disagree with:
“Islamism is the Nazism and communism of our time. It has to be met with disgust and much stronger resistance than has so far been the case.”
Of course, papers such as The Guardian are approaching these latest election results from a slightly more ‘leftist’ angle, instead choosing to reflect on how the Sweden Democrats didn’t do as well as “feared” and so on. It’s only a matter of time. ISIS have targeted Norway recently, saying they deserve to be destroyed etc. Whilst I understand when the rhetoric is directed at USA/UK, what on earth have any of the Scandi countries done to warrant such hostility? Apart from house, clothe and feed hundreds of thousands of Muslims running away from other Muslims. If any such attack happens on Swedish soil, expect the SD support to quadruple overnight.
Hilariously, as usual, the typical comments come rolling out from establishment mouthpieces:
Swedish voters are attracted to the party, more because it gives a voice to people who dislike the political elite than its stance on immigration, Prof Bjereld believes.
Why do these people have such a hard time imagining the populous may have a big issue with mass immigration and enforced multiculturalism? Bizarre.
As an aside, I recently came back from a short trip to Copenhagen in Denmark. I have to say I found it extremely pleasant (apart from the loud and obnoxious group of British-Pakistanis on the plane) and I could definitely live there. There’s a sense of community that one would suspect has been lost in a place such as Malmo (Sweden’s most multicultural city), so much so that Denmark has almost become the flag-bearer for non-multicultural Scandinavia. Funnily enough, that the leader of the popular ‘Danish People’s Party’ said, in 2005:
“If they want to turn Stockholm, Gothenburg or Malmö into a Scandinavian Beirut, with clan wars, honour killings and gang rapes, let them do it. We can always put a barrier on the Øresund Bridge”
That was in 2005, almost a decade ago – god knows what they think now. Hopefully, the first glimmers of optimism have started to trickle out of Sweden. Historians a thousand years from now will look back in utter bewilderment at the way political correctness and utopian progressivism created such a dangerous situation in many European countries.
After the Muslim grooming gang story broke some weeks ago, commentators said things such as “OK, we were naive, but it’s a Pakistani cultural issue rather than Islam”. That most certainly might have contributed, along with class, however explain this. Why are sexual gangs in Holland always Moroccan Muslims? Somali Muslims in Sweden? Algerian Muslims in Belgium? There’s got to be something that connects them, right?
I just hope it sorts itself as peacefully as possible. If non-violent, national conservatives like SD, Danish People’s Party, and so on, are the first step to ending multiculturalism…then I’m fully in support.
