Bootcamps are fun, last weekend me and Bromigo Matt took 4 guys out in cold, windy London town for a Bromigo daygame bootcamp. Bromigo Jimmy Mac was out of town so normally we’d do 6, we like to keep the ratio on bootcamps to 2 to 1. It’s a great feeling seeing these young guys scuttering around town like eager young lads running after a football in the park. We’ve been filming some videos of approaches recently and we started off by showing them before giving the guys a simple procedure for opening moving sets. They’d all read the game and seen Steve Jabba’s street magic. bootcamp london
But as always I remember my first bootcamp and how timid and shy I was, the same applied to this group of lads too. We got them to practice their approaches on each other and on ourselves. london bootcamp
It’s great when you hit the streets and see these guys come out of their shells on the bootcamp, when their first approach clicks and their eyes widen and the positive responses from cute girls gives them wind under their sails. One of the lads, a young arab student was brilliant, he got a few numbers on the first day and asked a lot of questions, you’ll probably see him on the streets of London with a video camera soon. There was some frustration for some of the lads, the urge to speed talk whilst approaching, not being strong enough in the approach to stop a girl and some just being bitches but nothing gets rid of that then doing more approaches. london bootcamp
One of the lads on the bootcamp with Bromigo Matt had severe approach anxiety, it was difficult to work him over, Matt did a few sets in front of him but it’s something we try to avoid. The lads are paying us for this time to teach them and we’d rather not approach girls who they could be approaching. On this instant though it didn’t help so we used a ruse I’d learned from a top RSG gamer. Matt got the young student to pull out £100 from a cashpoint and then would proceed to give him back £10 for every approach he did. It worked, money is a motivation and on this instance a huge motivation, the following day he had no problems getting off the mark. london bootcamp
This was a good bunch of positive students but they still have a long journey to take, from talking to hot girls to banging them takes time but it’s a journey I’m sure we are all glad we took. We’re booked out this March but we’ve got more bootcamps coming in April, head over to the RSG site (still being revamped) to book.
We want to provide good, honest help for anyone willing to better themselves. Our reputation is important to us and we don’t want to be handing out phoney advice for a quick buck only to not get business again because of bad rep. Some of our students we see again whether that’s for more training or for some drinks and a bit of night game. They’re the kind of relationships we want to and are looking to build, and we believe that a solid foundation of trustworthy, genuine and helpful advice is the key.
