I started using Badoo (one of those social networks that is quite ambigious in whether it’s actually a social network or an online dating site for those of you don’t know) to see if I could pipeline some Europeans for the summer trip me and Bromigo Jimmy are going to embark on soon. It has one of those ‘Encounters’ sections, where you see pictures and click ‘Yes’, ‘Maybe’ or ‘No’ on whether you would like to meet the person. I noticed I had a quite a few girls click ‘yes’ on the Badoo site and took a look and found around 20 girls in the London area. I’d seen the RVF guys and Bromigo Matt have some success from online trysts so thought I’d go through and see if I fancied any of these. I hit ‘Maybe’ on around 5, the rest were fatties and fuglies who I was not going to waste any time on.
Soul Collection is something Krauser has written about before. Bromigo Matt spurred me on to write about this Italian girl who I had picked up on a night out with Bromigo Jimmy last summer. This girl was best friends with Matt’s Epiphany Girl. It was about a month and a half into my little tryst with this girl that on a night out Matt commented that I literally collected her soul and popped it in a jar and put it on a shelf in my bedroom.
Bromigo Jimmy took me out to this wonderful gathering of cute foreign women in London that he knew about after his return from the Balkans. We grabbed some drinks and the ease of the place meant we just walked over to any girls we had a liking to and introduced ourselves. No conscious game, just simple intros and asking where the chicks were from. Jimmy warmed up on a french girl who ended up wanting him to go round to hers for some home cooked french cuisine. I got talking to a German girl and then a Pole who I number closed. Ideally we should have been looking for SNL’s but we were pretty lazy with just number closes. We relied on the benefit of knowing we would return the week after and a large number of these girls would be there too. I rolled outside to have a smoke and managed to bump into a conversation with an Italian guy and girl with an Australian. [Read more…]
I managed to get to get a same day lay with a French girl on Thursday and it was unexpected. A lot of guys won’t follow their gut instinct and say a few words, not realising anything can happen. I walked into Costa Coffee near my workplace around 4:30 in the afternoon on Thursday, work was over for the week and I was looking forward to a relaxed evening and nice long Easter weekend. I see this petite brunette in front of me in the queue with what seems like ants in her pants. She’s eyeing the cakes and desserts and has a finger on her lip as she contemplates what to have. I’ve had a good look and decided I’m not going to let this girl slide.
Damn, where to start. Last night was kind of crazy but pretty fun.
The Northern and Jubilee lines are down at the moment so it’s a fucking nightmare to get anywhere. Nice one, TFL. Doing maintenance on the busiest weekend of the year so far.
I get the sorry bus to Angel to meet up with Bojangles and our mate Suri. I get there a bit earlier than them and go and order some drinks and food at our favourite Tapas restaurant. The Italian waitress who I’ve been gaming for a while now but not executed anything with keeps coming over to me and chatting, completely ignoring the other customers and she’s giggling like crazy.
Bojangles and Suri eventually arrive and only have to wait 5 minutes before the food I ordered gets there. A waiter and a new waitress comes over to bring it to us. [Read more…]
The Art of Persuasion continuing on from the third post I made the other day, using the art of rhetoric within the art of persuasion. We are now on the third element, we’ve already discussed Pathos and Logos, now we have Ethos. Ethos is persuasion in argument by character. It can be the use of your reputation or somebody else’s as the basis for that argument. Ethos belongs to the audience therefore it is the audience that decides the ethos of the speaker/orator. This is the most important out of the three according to Aristotle and the most appealing, though a master orator would use all three.
The Epiphany Girl – Some average men will have one of these, and all beta-turned-players will definitely have had one of these. I, of course, have had one.
Back in August last year, after a couple of months of learning game and improving myself as a man, I met my epiphany girl. I didn’t know it at the time but this girl would shape my future in a massive way for the better. And no, this isn’t some lovey dovey I’m so glad to have met her bullshit post; I took the red pill and she was the water I washed it down with, so to speak.
Bojangles was seeing an Italian girl at the time and her mate was coming to London for a week, and we’d said we were going to go out as a group when she got here.
The Art of Persuasion continuing on from the second post I made the other day, using the art of rhetoric within the art of persuasion. I wrote about the elements Logos, which is argument by logic. I’m going to continue on that with the final part of Logos and persuasion using Logos which is Logical Fallacies.
You need to be able to detect these whilst engaged in the art of rhetoric especially when they are being used in persuasion as a tactic against you. Of course you could also use them yourself.
We’ll start with Bad Proof, the commonplace or principle of the argument is wrong or the example used it really bad. [Read more…]
Here’s some proof that girls are crazy. So, as I said in my recent OKCupid Openers post, I’m giving up with online dating. The online girls just aren’t as good as picking up girls in person. I wrote about a girl I told to come along to a bar to meet me and Bojangles and she wasn’t what I thought she was.
Anyway, I didn’t end it with her. I thought I’ll see how it goes, see if I can get anything out of it and get another notch for the year because after all, she’s up for it and she wasn’t exactly nasty. I’d give her a 7, and she’s 19 so that’s always good. I didn’t kiss her or show any interest in her the night we met up and this made her attraction for me grow.
Here’s a whatsapp exchange I had with her after we parted ways that night, and then after inviting her round for some sex on Wednesday. girls are crazy [Read more…]
The Art of Persuasion continuing on from the first post I made the other day, using the art of rhetoric within the art of persuasion. I wrote about the elements behind Pathos which is argument by emotion. Today I’m moving on to Logos, which is argument by logic. All argument should not be dictated by logic, as I’m sure many of you know from many an argument in the past you’ve had with family or in particular women, logic will never be your friend and will always see a rising anger in those who you are discussing with.
Deduction: You want to start with your proof and work towards the conclusion, the tools to enable you to do this part of Logos are such: [Read more…]
This post on Persuasion is based on the art of rhetoric, it’s a bit different from what we Bromigos normally post about but something that’s helpful like Game in all aspects of life. I’ve read up quite a bit on rhetoric over the past few months from figures such as Aristotle, Cicero, Lincoln, Eminem and the Monty Python gang, I’m going to explore this in a few posts about Persuasion over the next week or so.
Rhetoric is the art of influence, friendship and eloquence of ready wit and irrefutable logic. Whether you sense it or not, argument surrounds you. It plays with your emotions, changes your attitude, talks you into a decision, and goads you to buy things. Argument lies behind political labeling, advertising, jargon, voices, gestures, and guilt trips; it forms a real-life Matrix, the supreme software that drives our social lives. And rhetoric serves as an argument’s decoder. John Heinrichs
