The Art of Persuasion continuing on from the first post I made the other day, using the art of rhetoric within the art of persuasion. I wrote about the elements behind Pathos which is argument by emotion. Today I’m moving on to Logos, which is argument by logic. All argument should not be dictated by logic, as I’m sure many of you know from many an argument in the past you’ve had with family or in particular women, logic will never be your friend and will always see a rising anger in those who you are discussing with.

Persuasion

This post on Persuasion is based on the art of rhetoric, it’s a bit different from what we Bromigos normally post about but something that’s helpful like Game in all aspects of life. I’ve read up quite a bit on rhetoric over the past few months from figures such as Aristotle, Cicero, Lincoln, Eminem and the Monty Python gang, I’m going to explore this in a few posts about Persuasion over the next week or so.

Rhetoric is the art of influence, friendship and eloquence of ready wit and irrefutable logic. Whether you sense it or not, argument surrounds you. It plays with your emotions, changes your attitude, talks you into a decision, and goads you to buy things. Argument lies behind political labeling, advertising, jargon, voices, gestures, and guilt trips; it forms a real-life Matrix, the supreme software that drives our social lives. Daygame Tips

When you first start daygame it’s easy to fall off the boil and start reverting to type, approach anxiety rises again and you slowly phase yourself out of doing any approaches. Bromigo Bojangles here and I’ve got some quick tips for you. First thing to note is that as always it’s best for you guys to get out there and try these things out, sitting behind the PC and reading it won’t really help you.

Bootcamps Are Fun

Bootcamps are fun, last weekend me and Bromigo Matt took 4 guys out in cold, windy London town for a Bromigo daygame bootcamp. Bromigo Jimmy Mac was out of town so normally we’d do 6, we like to keep the ratio on bootcamps to 2 to 1. It’s a great feeling seeing these young guys scuttering around town like eager young lads running after a football in the park. We’ve been filming some videos of approaches recently and we started off by showing them before giving the guys a simple procedure for opening moving sets. Alpha Men – Friend or Foe?

I hate betas. I really fucking hate betas. RSG – How It All Started for Bojangles

So I met up with the RSG guys on a Friday night, well namely two fellas named Tony T and Burto, this was the start of the path to enlightenment. I was unprepared, I knew fuck all about the market and what went on in the pick up world. The guys explained what they (RSG) were about, how they (RSG) came together as a group and what made them different from the rest of the pickup artists operating in London. I explained to Burto how I’d been approached by Gambler and others who were charging fortunes for so called ‘training’ and that I was glad I was not conned into losing a huge amount more than what RSG/Sarge School was charging.

I had not read the book ‘The Game’ by Neil Strauss which seemed to have started off this whole ‘scene’. [Read more…]
